"Living Young and Wild and Free" this quote totally inspired me to make a blog post! As you allready read this 2013 had been one of the hardest years of my life! I thought you all should remember not to sweat the small stuff. Life is short. So enjoy being young! Take a risk, and be proud of who you are!

It's been awhile, huh? I sincerely apoligizing for being mia recently, 2013 has been pretty crazy! About four weeks ago I broke my arm skiing! I had made it down safely but then got cutt off and stumbled at the bottom of the hill. The result was twelve screws and two metal plates in my arm, it hasn't been fun to say the least. Not only did I have to reteach myself to write and use my arm properly, but I also have two HUGE scars on my arm, wahh! It coud've been worse though. These photos were taken a few months ago. I was lucky enough to go to a ice sculpture competition, and check out the AMAZING sculptures. There were teams from Mexico all the way to France and Europe. It was so.. much fun. I even stopped and got a crepe which was delish! Hope everyone is having a great start to the year. I'll be honest 2013 had been the hardest year of my life, but I couldn't be prouder of myself. God has helped me grow as a person in so many ways I can't even begin!

Finally I have finished all of my exams. It has been snowing quite often lately, so staying warm is a must! I love this cozy knit sweater because it's so warm, yet chic and put together. Today I spent my day relaxing from the caos each day brings. I began my day with a treat from Starbucks and ended it browsing around a local decor store, which is where the photos were taken.

So recently I have been overwhelmed with midterms, it has been hectic, to say the least. Unfortunally, I have had very little free time on my hands, which is why I haven't posted latly. I can't wait to get some new posts up soon though! I wanted to thank everyone for the kind words on my first few blog posts. All the support is really encouraging and I am so excited to post shortly. Anyways, onto the photo details! This picture was taken last fall and I absolutely love it! One of my good friends is into photography so we ran around taking photos. It was eau so much fun. Hope everyone is well. Besides school I've been able to go skiing which has been the perfect break from my hectic life.

Can you believe that this year is already over? To celebrate the New Year I decided to throw my hair into a sleek bun and a sequin dress. I kept my makeup simple with a bright pink lip and winged liner for a glam look. I also took my hair down to show you a different look, I think I prefer the bun, what about you? I am so excited to see what 2013 brings; hopefully there is a ton of new opportunities and exciting moments to share on my blog! I have been so blessed and am very thankful for everything I have. Christmas Eve

Before I cuddle into my bead, and have sugar plums dance in my head, I wanted to share with you my Christmas Eve, which was a day I will never forget. It was spent with the people I cherish the most, my family. We visited the most gorgeous church, which was supposed to resemble a church in Austria where the song Silent Night was first composed. Afterwards, we explored the Bavarian themed town close by, we ohhed and ahhed at the nativity scenes and elaborate Christmas light displays. The town was almost entirely empty so we ran through the streets (literally) and peaked into the cute boutiques as romantic Christmas music filled the air, it was so dreamy! Just thinking about it makes me want to go back to the quaint little town. The holiday season really doesn't have to be elaborate as long as you're with the people you love. Hope Santa treats you well tomorrow. Oh and don't forget the true meaning of Christmas which is Jesus's birth. Without him my life would be.. well.. DREADFUL!

First Snow

So here is my first blog post. Today I woke up to snow on the ground! I was so worried we wouldn't get a white Christmas, so this was the perfect surprise! As soon as I saw the weather I knew it would be the perfect day to pull out my cozy white sweater from Forever21. I literally live in this sweater during the cold season. It's super warm and perfect for a casual day out Christmas shopping or spending time with family. Hope your day is filled with holiday cheer!
